BRYSON BOULDER

Paint the Bryson Boulder for any special occasion!

The Boulder is an excellent way to share words of encouragement, say Happy Birthday, congratulations, etc. for a student or staff member. There is only one ticket/reservation per day, so be sure to get your reservation for your special day(s) before they are gone! All dates are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! Reservations are available from August 16, 2024 through June 30, 2024.

The $10 ticket/registration you purchase is good for date listed on the ticket, for 24 hours. The Bryson Boulder is available for you to paint starting at 4:00pm the day prior to the date you purchase and will remain as you painted it until 4:00 pm on the date of the ticket purchased.

Want to have more time to paint, or have your masterpiece on the boulder for longer!? You can reserve/purchase multiple days before and/or after the date you want. This is specifically helpful for rain, weekends, or people who unfortunately paint the rock too early on top of your masterpiece.

There are no refunds for any reason. If you decide that you do not want your date, you can offer it to another family; however, the Bryson PTA will not offer refunds for any reserved dates. There will be no refunds for inclement weather, as it is out of our control.

Families must furnish their own labor, paint, and supplies.

Only the FRONT of the Bryson Boulder may be painted.

Please be careful to not damage the surrounding area, and pick up all trash after painting.

Paint and primer mixes work best to cover other designs. If you choose spray paint, you will probably need 2-3 cans for a good base coat and additional paint for your design. Please do not use oil based paint, craft paint or washable paint. The quantity needed will depend upon the color you are using, the color already painted on the rock, weather conditions, etc. You can freehand or stencil your design. Be creative!! :)

Not sure what paint to use, don't have the time to paint it yourself, or maybe you aren't sure how to get that creative....you can use a local artist to the paint the boulder for you! We recommend MR Custom Art out of Fountain Inn, SC.

Images and wording must be in good taste!  Bryson Elementary School and the Bryson PTA have the right to remove any painting deemed inappropriate by school administration without notice to those who painted the rock.

Bryson Elementary's Bryson Boulder runs on the Honor Code, with the hopes that everyone will respect these guidelines.

All money raised from the Bryson Boulder will go toward supporting various PTA programs at Bryson Elementary.
